About Gretchen

Gretchen has been using a computer since her parents first purchased a Commodore Vic-20 back in 1985. Computers were rather drab at the time so she began programming her own games to stay entertained. Loving all things technical and never without the latest gadget in her pocket or strapped to her belt, Gretchen thrives on wifi and networking. She graduated from Millikin University in 1995 and has been working in various areas of computer technology, ultimately choosing web and graphic design as her favorites. She created the popular Girls Can’t WHAT? site and continues to develop that site and keep up with it’s product demand as time permits. When the power goes out, Gretchen can be found spending time with her family, drumming in her all-girl band or reading (technology books and software manuals, of course).

Kelli says:

Gretchen believes herself to be 100% geek, but I say she’s about 90% geek, 10% human. A winning combination, to be sure! If there were a way to intravenously upload the Internet, she’d be first in line. Borg implants, anyone?

Trina says:

In a large bowl, whisk together a dash of humor, a hint of sarcasm, and a pinch of cockiness. Combine ingredients with a concentrated base of genius and cook for 1 hour at 375. Voila! Gretchen-hot and steaming from the oven. For best results let cool before serving to guests.
